2019 Summer Retreat

In the beginning God made heaven and earth. The earth was invisible and unfinished; and darkness was over the deep. The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the water.

The Holy Spirit

July 5-7, 2019 Summer Retreat

East Waterford, Pennsylvania

Click here for the current Retreat Schedule.

Before Jesus was crucified, He told his followers they would not be left as orphans.  Jesus promised His Father would send the Holy Spirit to be their Helper, and to guide them into all truth.  The Old and New Testaments have much to say about the Holy Spirit, including His role in the lives of Christ’s followers today.  Yet many of us, depending on our backgrounds, were taught little about the Holy Spirit.

This year’s retreat will be focused on the Holy Spirit: who He is, His personality, His role throughout the Scriptures to help, protect, guide, and convict God’s people, and how we are to understand Him today. This topic is deep waters as it goes to the very identity of God.  The topic is also extremely practical, as we are called to walk in the Spirit during our short time on this earth, as we search out God’s will in our day-to-day lives. We welcome you to join us, as we dig into the Scriptures together and enjoy a weekend of fellowship, prayer and encouragement.

Once again we will be meeting at the Christian Retreat Center (www.crctims.org) in Waterford, Pennsylvania. The weekend will be extremely family friendly in a beautiful place, with excellent housing options and good food.We look forward to the time together with all who are able to join us.
