There are so many reasons to study the book of Genesis! Here you can take a deep dive into the lives of many heroes of the faith; including Noah, Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph, whose journeys are filled with heartache, courage, obedience and perseverance. The book of Genesis reveals much about the heart and character of God, so we can understand and love Him more fully. Given the number of times Genesis is referenced in the New Testament, grasping its content provides great insight for Christians today. Finally, the number of prophecies of the Christ to come is truly remarkable, building our faith in Jesus, our King and Savior.
