This chapter addresses the uncomfortable subject of various fluids being discharged from the body of a man or woman, that would thereby render the person unclean. We explore what a key term used might be referring to, and how this passage provides a great backdrop to the story of Luke 8 (where Jesus heals a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years). We also consider early Christian insights on this subject, and whether any of these rules still apply today.
